Guiding Vision

The practice of yoga swims us out into the ocean, into the Big Blue, into the deep water. And it leaves us there, in wonder, with only our awareness and infinite creative potential as a buoy. Which is exactly where we are meant to be. In the sacred realm of the unknown. Determined to remember.

Commitment

My commitment and vision is to help clarify, communicate, and unfold how the practice of asana and pranayama in the tradition of BKS Iyengar animates, then anchors the deeper philosophy of yoga and the basic principles of natural law into the body and mind of the practitioner. With the primary intention of clarifying, improving, and vitalizing the quality and content of our life experience.

Who Is This Program For

- Those inspired to explore the practice and philosophy of yoga as guiding instruments to examine and remember who we are, where we are, and when we are.

- Those committed to taking back responsibility for the full spectrum of the quality of their lives – physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual - and de-program themselves from the true modern epidemics of victim consciousness and learned helplessness.

- Those who want to help others by learning the art of teaching and clear communication, while re-committing to a stable, embodied practice.

- Those who recognize that something has gone wildly dark and twisted in the evolution of human consciousness. But (and also) that it is all just an offer (as Tom Barnett asserts), and there are other, more natural stories to tell and live.

- Those who know (or deeply suspect) there are two distinct, parallel worlds existing at the same time in this realm. A fictional, synthetic world born of - and driven forward by - human thought, manufactured value, outsourced consent, and delusion. And another real, natural world. Born of the creator, felt and perceived through the human heart. A world of intrinsic value, natural laws, simplicity, order, and harmony. Accessed through personal individuation, and the embodiment of the full human condition.

‘In this world, but not of this world.’

- Those who want to ease and glide into the deepest, gentlest expression of who they truly are as Beings by engaging intentionally with the paradoxical requisites of full commitment, and full surrender. Sincerely engaged and dedicated to a strong, regular, long-term, persistent practice. While humbly listening to the short and long-term results of that commitment as divine guidance.

- ... while having the most amount of fun, joy, and celebration along the way.
