The evidence that 9/11 was an 'inside job' - an event organized and executed by certain rogue elements within the U.S. government - is overwhelming. There are smart, qualified, professional scientists and researchers that have worked, and continue to work, very hard to debunk virtually every aspect of the government's 9/11 fairytale. I have yet to meet anyone seriously willing to consider all the relevant evidence not come to the conclusion that, at the very least, an entirely new, truly independent investigation needs to be conducted. And none of the official 'investigative agencies' who supposedly looked in to 9/11 will engage in a public discussion or debate with any of the highly skilled, professional, and scholarly members of the 9/11 truth movement. Giving the spurious excuse that to engage in discussion and/or debate would only give weight and legitimacy to a fringe element of society not worthy of any more consideration.
However, 42% of the American people believe that "the US government and its 9/11 Commission concealed critical evidence that contradicts their official explanation of the September 11th attacks." (Zogby, May 2006) Thousands of professional airline pilots, aeronautical engineers, air traffic controllers, military officers, combat pilots, architects, structural engineers, physicists, mathematicians, former CIA analysts, FBI agents, historians, former members of both the Reagan and Bush I administrations, investigative reporters, and normal people like me are actively involved in exposing the official myth of 9/11. And by any reasonable definition, these people do not make up a loony 'fringe' of society.
The problem is, however, when someone writes or makes a statement like: 'the US government was involved in the planning and execution of 9/11', it is so unusual, so contrary to the official account hammered, over and over and over, into the public consciousness in the past six years, so emotionally consequential if true, that the reader or listener to such a comment would reasonably ask for some clarification. And because of the total lack of awareness in the average citizen regarding the actual facts and data and wild discrepancies in play in the official narrative of 9/11, this reasonably asked for clarification takes some time. Unheard of background has to be given, contexts redefined, myths dispelled, basic facts explained. Then the definitive work of the pilots, engineers, physicists, historians, and scholars of the 9/11 truth movement can be reasonably considered.
But all of this is time consuming. And we in the modern western world are not exactly possessed of long attention spans anymore. Information and 'facts' now come in easily rendered sound bites. Few of us have the patience or 'time' for the nuanced world. We want emotionally potent quick hits of information. Bumper sticker length truisms and explanations.
So, bearing that in mind, what follows is a quick, direct, simple route to the truth about 9/11. It requires no technical knowledge or background, no deep understanding of the various factors in play, no scientific inquiry. Instead, what follows is a straightforward presentation of two different sets of incompatible stories told by the U.S. government in response to certain aspects of the events of 9/11 that cannot co-exist. Both sets of stories that follow contain two parallel narratives given by government officials in response to different anomalies regarding 9/11. And in each case, one given narrative necessarily cancels out the possibility of the other given narrative being true. Which provides the quickest avenue to see with absolute clarity the truth that the 'official' storytellers of 9/11 lied about pivotal aspects of the supposed al-Qaeda attacks, and should be, therefore, considered prime suspects for the crimes of high treason and mass-murder. And once properly re-investigated as the obvious prime suspects they are, the real perpetrators will have to answer to the rest of the more technical, scholarly and comprehensively thorough work of the 9/11 truth movement. A truth and a tide not even they can hold back.
The first set of incompatible stories involves the crime scene at the Pentagon. In November of 2001, the Washington Post, the NY Times, and scores of other newspapers across the country reported that all victims from AA Flight 77 and the Pentagon attack on the morning of 9/11 had been positively identified by forensics experts through DNA analysis. This information was in part released to close a door for victim family members who had been suffering such terrible loss. And it was lauded as an investigation from the absolute cutting edge of scientific enterprise - one that had the full weight of the Pentagon, and the massive resources and unequivocal commitment of the federal government behind it.
And indeed, this DNA identification process of the victims was an incredible piece of scientific investigation. Because it wholly and unequivocally contradicts another official government and 'scientific' narrative, one that details the specifics of a violent collision and raging inferno within the Pentagon that consumed and virtually incinerated the crash and investigation site. The story goes something like this: in the months after 9/11, certain critics in the general public began questioning the 'official story', specifically the strange lack of airplane debris in and around the Pentagon. Arguing that after the crash of a massive Boeing 757, there should have been more definitive evidence of an airplane - some wings, a tail fin, landing gear, engine parts, luggage, etc., none of which was found. In response, the government shot back by releasing information detailing a violent impact and subsequent firestorm, fueled by massive amounts of jet fuel, that quickly and easily incinerated any significant crash debris. Providing, in their minds, a straightforward explanation to those questioning the whereabouts of the allegedly missing airplane wreckage.
So, for clarity's sake, the public was told on the one hand that the firestorm in the Pentagon after the crash of AA Flight 77 burned so hot that the virtually indestructible titanium engines were melted, enormous metal wings incinerated, detachable vertical tail fins swallowed whole, seats and luggage consumed, every inch of metal framing obliterated, landing gear gone, a whole enormous Boeing 757 essentially vaporized into molten rubble and dust. And yet somehow, according to the government's other narrative, that same raging, all-consuming inferno spared enough body parts and DNA of 184 individual human beings - made of a carbon based material significantly less rugged than titanium, called skin and bone - somehow these remains survived said firestorm in tact enough for positive identification. How is this possible?
These are wholly irreconcilable narratives. They cannot co-exist. Either one is false, or both are false. But both cannot be true. And the consequences of this cannot be underestimated. Because it means the government and its official 'investigative' commissions lied about at least one central pin holding the narrative of 9/11 together. Which, to be blunt, means the pin has been pulled, and the entire 'official' narrative regarding 9/11 is now rendered false. And revealed to be a wildly fabricated conspiracy theory.
Further definitive proof of this official conspiracy lies in a second set of irreconcilable narratives. This time involving the opposing behavior and nature of Boeing airplanes at the Pentagon versus the behavior and nature of Boeing airplanes at the World Trade Center. The first narrative deals again with the crash of AA flight 77 into the western façade of the Pentagon. And again it is a narrative first detailed by the government and its 'investigative' agencies in response to certain critics of the official account. The story this time goes something like this: in the months after 9/11, the critics of the official account were not only complaining about the odd lack of verifiable and definitive AA flight 77 airplane debris at the Pentagon. These critics also began to point out that if a massive Boeing 757 did indeed crash into the Pentagon as described, there should have been much more widespread destruction - a bigger entrance hole, greater penetration into the building, a larger and longer sustained fire, more destruction of the lawn, construction material, spools of cable, and other debris sitting in front of the building. Instead, the opposite of what would seem to be expected was found - no definitive airplane debris, a dubiously small entrance hole, a short, intense fire, an untouched lawn (literally), construction material, multiple spools of cable, and other office materials very close to the impact zone untouched and unaffected by the massive impact of a large jumbo jet flush into the side of a nearby building.
In response to these criticisms, the government wheeled out a group of 'scientists' to explain. The public was told that most of the mass and potential energy of the airplane was unstable - because it was principally contained in the liquid jet fuel held in the fragile wings. And that upon impact, the wings detached from the fuselage and much of the mass and weight and potential energy of the aircraft contained therein was quickly consumed in the subsequent giant fireball explosions. The public was also reminded that much of a Boeing 757 is made up of relatively weak aluminum, and that this aluminum didn't stand a chance at 450 mph against the recently retrofitted, blast reinforced wedge of the Pentagon that became the impact site. In fact, the airplane was described in one of the 'official reports' as having been 'crushed like a soda pop can'. So, according to the official account, limited damage to the building, and limited survival of airplane debris, was to be expected.
Whether all of this government theory and explanation regarding AA 77 at the Pentagon is true and sound is, as far as this paper is concerned, not significant. What is significant is that this one officially rendered story and narrative used to explain anomalies at the Pentagon stands in EXACT opposition to another officially rendered story and narrative used by the government to explain anomalies in the collapse of the Twin Towers. For while the fragility and LACK of sustainable mass, thrust, and velocity of the Boeing 757 that hit the Pentagon was used to explain the lack of damage and debris at the impact site in Washington, D.C., the ENORMOUS amount of sustained velocity, thrust and mass of the Boeing 757 (and 767) in New York was used to explain the CATASTROPHIC amount of damage at the World Trade Center.
This story goes something like this: in the months after 9/11, critics looking into the collapse of both Twin Towers noted that fire alone should not have caused such fatal damage to the two buildings. They pointed out that the buildings seemed to do just fine after the initial impact, standing upright and more or less sound. And then quite suddenly, within an hour of a relatively weak, oxygen-starved fire, the entire South Tower collapsed - including the 47 massive, 1,000 foot long, central steel support columns. Columns that should have been left standing at least partially up in the air if, as the official account reports, the damaged floors at the impact zone broke free of those columns, and began falling in a 'pancake collapse' down one on top of the next. So where, the critics wanted to know, did all the fatal, catastrophic damage come from?
To explain all of this, the government wheeled out another group of scientists. This group of scientists explained to the public that obviously it was not just fire that caused the lethal damage at the WTC. They reminded us that two giant jumbo-jet airplanes hit the buildings. And they testified that these airplanes, unlike at the Pentagon, caused massive amounts of catastrophic structural damage. We were told that, somehow, while the Boeing 757 that flew into the Pentagon essentially disappeared and disintegrated upon impact like a 'crushed soda-pop can', the Boeing 757 (and 767) that flew into the Twin Towers somehow maintained their huge mass, forward thrust, and devastating energy. These airplanes at the WTC, unlike at the Pentagon, somehow penetrated through the powerful external steel framing of the two giant structures, through the interior of the buildings, and into the core of the Towers. And instead of losing their wings, instead of dumping their unstable mass of jet fuel in a giant fireball, instead of incinerating their tail fins, engines, and landing gear, they maintained so much force and so much mass and so much of their potential energy that they managed to find their way into the center core of the buildings and, not being quite done yet, sever a number of massive vertical steel columns. Columns, incidentally, charged with holding up a building that weighed millions of tons.
So, to review, unlike the plane at the Pentagon, the planes at the World Trade Center apparently did not contain most of their mass in the form of jet fuel carried in the fragile wings. And this mass, unlike at the Pentagon, did not get consumed by the initial impact and massive fireballs. Instead, the planes at the Towers, in a reversal of the precedent set at the Pentagon, MAINTAINED their mass and power and forward thrust and contributed to the actual collapse of two of the most enormous sky scrapers in the world.
Again, as with the story of the miracle DNA at the Pentagon, whether this official government scenario of the airplanes' behavior at the World Trade Center is true or not is not significant to this paper. What is significant is that it again stands in EXACT opposition to the other official government scenario laid out for airplane behavior at the Pentagon. And these are wholly irreconcilable narratives. Which has devastating consequences for the U.S. government. Because if one is true, the other is false. Or both can be false. But both cannot be true. So again this means the government and its official 'investigative' commissions lied about another central pin holding the narrative of 9/11 together. Again the pin has been pulled, and again the entire 'official' narrative regarding 9/11 is rendered false. And indeed, any individual spending even 30 minutes looking honestly into the rest of the 9/11 story will find that the above two examples of irreconcilable government narratives are not unique. They are not the exception. Instead, the government's inability to render logical explanations to scores of uncovered anomalies in the 'official' account is a recurring norm. To the point of absurdity.
So enough with the conspiracy theories and fairytales about 19 Arab hijackers living in a cave in Afghanistan, annoyed at our American 'values' and unique 'way of life', using box-cutters and laptops to thwart a multi-trillion dollar defense apparatus. Enough about the terrorists' cunning and guile that allowed them to defy the simplest laws of logic, gravity, and nature multiple times on one morning. Enough of the wholly irreconcilable government narratives that cannot, even after the most cursory examination and consideration of the data, co-exist. Enough of making national stories and fairytales up, insisting they are real, creating whole mythologies and dogmas around said fairytales, then using the veracity and weight of the fabricated tale to justify and rationalize all sorts of monstrous behavior.
We have abdicated our power to sociopaths and mass-murderers. 9/11 is the appalling proof that our government is now not only dangerous to people from other nations, but dangerous to its own citizenry. We those citizens have to educate ourselves about what is truly going on in our country, and in the world. We have to rewrite into the public domain and into our collective conscious what actually happened on the morning of 9/11. We have to look deeply into why we so eagerly bought into the absurd myths fed to us by the overlords who act as our 'leaders'. We have to take direct action, redirect our resources and collective will in order to take back the power we have so readily abdicated. We have to stand up and hold the perpetrators and murderers accountable. Not only for the Afghanis, the Iraqis, and future populations that will likely suffer from the policies fueled by the U.S. government's 9/11 conspiracy theory. But we have to do this for ourselves, for the victims of 9/11, and for our own children as well. Otherwise, as the Native Americans have wryly been trying to tell us for so long, we are likely to end up in the exact direction we are headed.
